The Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Red Thunder' draws directly from the DNA of the coveted 'Thunder' colourway — originally released in 2006 and reissued in 2012 — swapping the iconic Tour Yellow accents for a bold hit of crimson red that gives the familiar silhouette an entirely new energy.

Upper

A black nubuck upper anchors the mid-top with premium texture and depth, carrying the AJ4's signature construction: quarter-panel mesh, moulded eyelets, and TPU support wings — all executed in the same blacked-out base. Crimson accents appear across the moulded eyelets, interior tongue, quarter panel, and throat, creating the same colour-blocking logic as the 'Thunder' with a sharper, more aggressive palette.

Branding

Jumpman branding decorates both the tongue tag and heel, keeping the Jordan identity present without competing with the colourway's bold contrast.

Cushioning

The midsole carries the crimson accent story through to the bottom of the shoe, housing a visible Air-Sole unit under the heel for responsive, all-day cushioning.
